The Public Infobanjir Website is one of the key initiatives of the Department which aims to provide the latest flood warning and hydrological data observations. The preparation of this website has made the Department’s effort to develop a telemetry hydrologic database that would benefit all users. In line with the needs and current technological developments as well as the Department’s initiatives in public service planning, the Department has developed myJPS and mypublicinfobanjir mobile apps that are available for download via Play Store (Android) and Apps Store (iOS).
It is hoped that this website can serve as a quick and useful source of quick reference to the public, all DID staff from the management level to the implementers as well as for the Ministries, Departments and other agencies that required hydrological information especially rainfall and water level data as well as real time flood forecast and warning information.
I take this opportunity to congratulate all Divisions, States and Projects especially the National Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre, Water Resources and Hydrology Division which has been working on realizing the Department’s efforts through the provision of this highly informative website.
